Membrane Keyboards are keyboards in which the keys are not separated from each other, but are made on a single flat surface.
Their appearance is coincident with the need to have an application range greater than that offered by traditional mechanical keyboards.

Operation is based on electrical contact between the keyboard surface and the underlying circuits when pressed in certain areas (keys).

They are made of materials that are more resistant to chemical agents, offer high dust and moisture protection, wear resistance.
Membrane keyboards technology is widely used on CNC machines, electrical appliances, electrical and electronic equipment, even though they are under heavy use.
